Stadium with Grandstands

Title: STADIUM PROPOSAL WITH STANDS AND PARKING PLACES

Project description :
For this project, there were 2 variants of proposals made for the construction of a stadium on land with an area of approximately 14000 sqm. In both proposals, the playing field would’ve been made according to the FIFA dimensions. The dimensions included the grandstand area, which has the role of creating a safe place for visitors to watch the game in the best possible conditions. It also includes the necessary facilities for good development of the stadium activity like bathrooms, locker rooms, storage spaces right under the grandstands. It also provides the possibility to create other spaces, if they are to be requested in the future by the beneficiary. To be able to use it at night the stadium has a nightlight system around it.

The 2 variants, although very similar, have different approaches to landscaping. In the first variant, the emphasis was on creating as many grandstands for spectators as possible, to the detriment of the parking spaces within the field. In the second variant, the emphasis was on creating a more harmonious relationship between the places for spectators and the parking spaces available in the field, by creating a single grandstand, but with a more advantageous orientation towards the North-East region.
Also, the 2nd variant allows for easier extension of the stadium, if the land on which it is located will be enlarged, having the possibility to create both a 2nd tribune and expand the parking places.
